Torre Gassib is a mission-driven finance and compliance leader with more than a decade of experience in nonprofit and governmental accounting. With a strong foundation in business development, audit readiness, and grant compliance, she has built a career on ensuring organizations achieve both fiscal responsibility and mission alignment. Her expertise lies in creating sustainable financial systems, enhancing transparency, and delivering data-driven insights that empower boards, funders, and leadership teams to make informed decisions.
As the Founder and President of Insightful Impact Consulting LLC, Torre partners with nonprofits to strengthen their financial health and compliance infrastructure. Within the firm’s first year, she improved operational efficiency for clients by up to 30%, while also designing funder-specific reporting packages and board-level dashboards that increased accountability and trust. Beyond consulting, she serves as Treasurer of Our Stable Life, a nonprofit dedicated to equine therapy, where she oversees budgets, compliance, and fundraising allocations in support of community programs.
Her professional career includes senior consulting roles at Cherry Bekaert LLP and Guidehouse (formerly Grant Thornton Public Sector LLC), where she managed complex government and nonprofit engagements nationwide. From implementing GASB standards across 18+ government entities to conducting federal compliance audits for agencies such as the Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of Veterans Affairs, Torre has consistently delivered rigorous analysis, process improvements, and actionable strategies. She also brings valuable private-sector experience, having worked with organizations like Stand Together and Freedom Partners in financial reporting and operational accounting.
Torre holds an MBA in Accounting from the University of New Mexico, a BBA in Accounting from American University, and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. She is an anticipated Certified Project Manager, a Certified Bookkeeping Professional, and an active member of the PMI New York City Chapter and the AGA North Jersey Chapter. Combining her technical expertise, leadership skills, and passion for equitable access to services, Torre is committed to advancing the financial sustainability of mission-driven organizations while fostering accountability and long-term growth.
